CyberCoders is seeking a seasoned Trust & Estate Tax Specialist (CPA) to own fiduciary tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth estates and trusts in Rochester, NY. You will lead preparation of Form 1041 returns, K-1s, and related schedules, and advise executors and trustees on tax consequences.

Coordinate with estate planning attorneys, financial advisors, and investment managers to gather data and implement tax-efficient strategies tailored to each client's situation.
Prepare fiduciary accounting analyses and client‑ready statements supporting tax reporting and ongoing administration.
Supervise and mentor junior tax preparers, reviewing their work and reinforcing quality standards across the team.

Active CPA license.
3+ years of hands‑on experience preparing and reviewing fiduciary tax returns, with strong command of Form 1041, K-1s, grantor trust rules, and income distribution principles.

Experience working directly with clients or professional advisors (attorneys, financial planners, or similar).
Experience with individual income tax returns (Form 1040) in the context of trust distributions and beneficiary reporting.
Familiarity with practice management systems and tax preparation software (e.g., Thomson Reuters, CCH, or similar).
Prior experience mentoring or training junior staff in a public accounting or wealth management environment.
