Job summary

The University of Kansas Lawrence Campus is seeking a Student Hourly to support library services. You will assist patrons at the reference desk, aid with the online catalog, shelve materials, and process archival materials as assigned, with duties split evenly at 20% for each task.

This hourly position requires student status and eligibility under KU policies. Remote work is not available; on-site duties occur at the Lawrence campus, primarily within library facilities.

Qualifications

Must have customer service experience as evidenced in application materials.
Demonstrated attention to detail in prior roles or coursework.
Experience working collaboratively, evidenced in application materials.

Responsibilities

Assist patrons at the reference desk (20%).
Provide reference assistance with the online catalog (20%).
Shelve books (20%).
Process archival materials (20%).
Perform other duties as assigned (20%).
