Description of the Pharmacy Technician role :

We are looking for a dependable, detail- and customer service-oriented, self-starting individual to join our team. This Pharmacy Technician position will primarily process and fill prescriptions at our Milan store but will also travel to our Versailles and Batesville stores as needed as well.

• Accurate medication counting and packaging
• Computer input
• Selling durable medical equipment
• Balancing cash drawers
• Generating reports
• Other tasks may be delegated under the direction of the pharmacist
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Valid State of Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
• High level of care and compassion for others
• Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills
• Mathematical reasoning skills
• Problem resolution ability
• Minimum of 2 years experience at a retail pharmacy preferred
• RX30 software experience is preferred

Our Milan store hours are as follows : Monday-Friday 9 : 00am-6pm, Saturday 9am-2pm, and closed Sundays. The schedule for this position will include 36-40 hours per week as well as a Saturday rotation. Additionally, travel to other Ripley County stores may be required as necessary.
