BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Training Development Specialist contributes to strengthening ZEGNA’s retail capabilities by developing high-quality, engaging, and business-relevant training content.

The role covers the full spectrum of retail learning topics – from product knowledge to selling, styling, service, and onboarding – ensuring a consistent narrative and format across digital, classroom, and in-store channels. Acting as a bridge between HQ and markets, this position ensures that all training materials reflect ZEGNA’s brand storytelling, elevate the Client Experience, and contribute to measurable impact in engagement, UPT, and NPS.

What makes up your day
In this role, you will :

Collaborate closely with the departments supporting retail (Product, Merchandising, Visual, Marketing, CVM, Operations, and Retail Excellence) to transform brand priorities and service enablers into learning that enhances the Client Experience.

Design and develop training materials across all retail topics: product, styling, selling ceremony, service, onboarding, service tools, and other themes connected to the Client Experience.

Liaise with external agencies and vendors for creative production when required.

Create engaging content across multiple formats, including e-learning, in-class toolkits, in-store activities, and short video modules.

Manage production timelines, translations, and uploads within the Learning Management System and related platforms.

At least 3 years of experience in instructional design and content development, with ability to adapt materials for global audiences (preferably in Luxury Brands).

Retail background and understanding of store dynamics, client interactions, and selling behaviors.

Skilled in training or presentation delivery, with clear and confident communication style.

Ability to design engaging, high-quality learning materials across different formats (digital, classroom, in-store).

Proficiency with MS Office, authoring tools (e.g., Rise, Articulate), and LMS platforms; knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools is considered a plus.

Agility, curiosity, and a passion for innovation in learning.

Positive attitude, openness to feedback, and ability to navigate in a dynamic, fast-evolving, and matrix environment.

Fluent English, both spoken and written.
