The successful candidate will provide technical support, perform installations and maintenance activities, and collaborate with the Sales team to enhance customer satisfaction and service product sales. This remote position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication in Italian and proficiency in English, along with relevant experience in the field.

As a Technical Service Engineer, you will be part of our technical service team in your assigned area in Italy, providing technical support to our local customers. You will have the opportunity to develop your professional career in a highly professional environment with innovative equipment.

What you will do :

• Perform pre-installations, installations, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct training sessions, both internally and externally where needed.
• Complete service reports accurately, noting time confirmation, spare part usage, tasks performed, service product, fault/solution codes, installed base data maintenance (serial number, ink, counter value, functional location), reverse flow, billing block code, billing request confirmation.
• Actively promote and sell M-I service products to customers, improving application uptime and maximizing sales results, while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to meet sales revenue targets and foster revenue growth. Build strong relationships with the Sales department.
• Travel to customer sites within your assigned area, with occasional national travel for training and meetings.

What you need to have :

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• High proficiency in Italian; intermediate English; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to follow procedures and plan time effectively.
• At least 2-3 years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Service Engineer.
• Ability to assess technical situations and issues proactively and advise on solutions.
• Certifications in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Networking, Vision cameras, or software capabilities.
• Expert knowledge of technical products, preferably including Markem-Imaje’s product range.
