Purpose of the Job
The Service Signaling Engineer will contribute to the Signaling Service Engineering activities, particularly in the areas of development of digital initiatives and services (Control Room) and ISR (Integrated Service Readiness) activities, which are preparatory to guarantee the correct maintenance of a signaling system.

Mission
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
In relation to the development of Digital Services, the person will:
- Contribute pro-actively to the development of the Control Room, guaranteeing its correct functioning and identifying possible areas for improvement.
- Define the Software developments of the Control Room by means of “agile” specifications.
- Improve the internal technical assistance process through the proposal of new digital services (improvement of call recording, management of documentation and reporting).
- Define proposals for digital services related to signaling maintenance activities.
- Contribute to the maintenance and configuration of the Control Room and digital services.
- Prepare documentation necessary for the use and maintenance of the Control Room and digital services.
- Contribute to the definition of the Control Room and Digital Services roadmap with the Service Signaling Engineering Manager.
In relation to ISR activities, the person will:
- Review and define areas for improvement in the maintenance manuals provided by D&IS.
- Define maintenance plans based on the maintenance manuals provided by D&IS.
- Contribute to the construction of the LCC related to the maintenance of signaling systems.
- Define management plans for Obsolescence.
- Propose roadmaps for updating the signaling systems in terms of Baseline.
- Define training plans for internal staff and the customer's staff.
- Contribute to the definition of the RAM data collection process.
Additional activities may include:
- Continuous improvement through the adoption of digital processes and services.
- Participation in tenders by analyzing technical requirements and drafting related technical documentation.
- Participation in D&IS DFQ cycles for the definition of the Maintainability requirements of the signaling systems.
- Proposals for improvement of tools and diagnostic tools developed by D&IS.
- Contribute to the management of obsolescence in charge of the Service structure.
Candidate Requirements
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronic – IT – Telecommunications); MSC in Engineering is a plus.

Experience
Previous experience (2+ years) in the development of Hardware and/or Software Electronic Systems and Solutions or in Engineering activities will be considered a plus.
