A leading multinational company in Milan is seeking a Media Strategy Lead to define and implement the EMEA Media Strategy with a focus on Traditional Media. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in media and FMCG sectors, proven leadership skills, and a strong understanding of media management.

Define and lead the EMEA Media Strategy, with a strong emphasis on Traditional Media (TV, OOH, Radio, Print), while ensuring seamless integration with Digital and Omnichannel activities.
Act as the main liaison between Global and EMEA teams, aligning on Media guidelines, planning principles, and KPIs, and ensuring countries fully understand and execute the strategy.
Steer and support countries in developing effective media plans, ensuring optimal reach, frequency, GRPs, and budget allocation across the funnel.
Monitor media performance across all channels—especially TV and other offline touchpoints—establishing KPIs, tracking tools, and efficiency measurements. Extract insights and translate them into actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
Consolidate and challenge country media investment strategies to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and alignment with regional priorities.
Oversee full compliance with GDPR and internal governance rules for all media-related processes.
Lead social listening and consumer behavior tracking to enrich media planning, ensuring findings are integrated into EMEA brand and campaign strategies.
Stay ahead of evolving media landscapes, particularly new opportunities in traditional and hybrid media formats, and drive innovation across the region.
Degree in Business Administration or Marketing, ideally Digital/Omnichannel Management, Communication or Media management
5-8 years of mixed working experience in a media agency and a FMCG company
Proven experience in Media/Omnichannel/Digital Marketing with strong understanding of full funnel communication, media efficiency analysis and media management
Good technical knowledge of relevant digital tools for analytics & data management
Good understanding of the overall business in terms of its goals, customers, consumers and competitors
Proven leadership skills and ability to influence, innovate, collaborate and communicate with individuals and teams (local and regional / inter/functional)
Experience from marketing/Brand Management and from a multi-national company is advantageous
