Senior Data Engineer – Micro Mobility Startup

Position Overview: As a Senior Data Engineer at our startup, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive decision‑making and enhance our products and services. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of engineers, analysts, and product managers to develop and maintain robust data pipelines, optimize data infrastructure, and contribute to the creation of data‑driven solutions that propel our business forward.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data requirements and develop scalable solutions to address them.
  • Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure reliable data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of data from various sources, user interactions, and operational systems.
  • Design and optimize data models and schemas to support analytics, reporting, and machine learning applications.
  • Conduct data quality checks and monitoring to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our datasets.
  • Work on the fleet health optimization reporting using our BI (for example Relocation).
  • Utilize Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI to create visualizations and dashboards for effective data communication.
  • Assist in building and maintaining data warehouses, data lakes, and other storage solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and data analytics, and proactively contribute to improving our data infrastructure and processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Advanced programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of data processing frameworks and tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
  • Advanced knowledge of database systems (relational and NoSQL) and proficiency in SQL.
  • Advanced knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Senior Data Engineer – IoT Cloud Analytics

Our Data Science and Analytics team builds data solutions based on IoT data that we collect from hundreds of thousands of devices connected across the globe. We are hiring a senior data engineer who is passionate about building structured, high‑quality data pipelines and can help us drive the development of our cloud analytics platform. These solutions will be used to evolve our products, and to give insights to our fleet of tens of thousands of technicians troubleshooting issues on the field. We process terabytes of data using tools such as Spark pipelines combined with various Azure cloud products such as different message queues, relational and non‑relational OLTP and OLAP databases, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, monitor, and validate the Data Platform activity.
  • Build large‑scale batch and real‑time data processing systems within IoT cloud platforms.
  • Evolve our data pipelines towards technical excellence by improving data quality through testing, tooling and continuously evaluating performance at scale.
  • Continuously improve our code base by working with innovative data processing frameworks, technologies, and platforms.
  • Facilitate and drive collaboration with other software engineers, data scientists, and cloud architects, to build exceptional data‑powered products.
Profile

You are knowledgeable and curious about software engineering. You care deeply about agile software processes, reliability, and responsible experimentation as well as being a strong advocate for engineering best practices such as continuous integration and delivery.

Must have
  • At least 8 years of experience building big‑data pipelines within modern IoT message‑based cloud ecosystems, at the intersection of message queues, OLTP and OLAP databases, and Spark‑based analytics platforms.
  • Databricks experience.
Nice to have
  • .NET, C#.

Senior Data Engineer – CRIF

  • Experience with Data Governance concepts (Data Lineage, Data Quality).
  • Knowledge of ML/DL libraries.
  • Experience with agent protocols (e.g. MCP, A2A, ACP) and agentic design patterns.

Planning Senior Engineer – Tecnimont / Maira S.p.A.

Plan reporting and project control activities, preparing documents such as Milestones Plan, Project Summary Schedules, 90 days Schedule, WBS, Project Detailed Schedule, Baseline Schedule, Progress Curves, Reporting. Support the Project Team in risk analysis and maintain project control tools. Interaction with project stakeholders.

Civil & Structural Steel Senior Engineer – Maira S.p.A. (Tecnimont S.p.A.)

Collaborate with Project Director/Manager, Engineering Manager, Civil Discipline Lead. Prepare execution strategy, coordinate activities in multiple centers, ensure compliance with contractual requirements, coordinate vendor and subcontractor, provide technical training, monitor market trends.

Senior CFD Engineer – [Client]

Senior CFD Engineer responsible for developing, analysing and optimizing reactor concepts. Tasks include model development in ANSYS Fluent, CFX, OpenFOAM, kinetic modelling with ChemicalKinetics, thermodynamic and fluid dynamic analysis, support reactor prototyping.

Requirements
  • Laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Meccanica or equivalent, at least 15 years of experience in thermal, reactive system design.
  • Knowledge of methane pyrolysis and blue hydrogen production.
  • Solid skills in thermodynamics, reactive and non‑reactive fluid dynamics.
  • Advanced experience with CFD solvers: Ansys Fluent, CFX, CD Adapco, OpenFOAM.
  • Advanced experience with chemical kinetics solvers: Cantera, Chemkin, Gaseq.
  • Ability to integrate simplified kinetic models into CFD solvers.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Independent and team‑oriented attitude, practical leadership.
Plus
