Job Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the finance team
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies
• Manage banking relations
• Develop interfaces between big data platforms and accounting systems to record trades, deposits, withdrawals, and profit/loss movements
• Draft SOPs and policies compliant with MiCAR requirements
• Serve as the main contact for finance queries and internal solutions
• Track payments and expenditures, including payroll, invoices, and statements, while streamlining processes
• Reconcile accounts by verifying entries and system reports
• Support daily payment operations such as bank transfers, cheque handling, and cash management
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding finance
• Prepare account analyses and monthly reports
• Undertake additional duties as required

Job Requirements

• Over 5 years of comprehensive finance experience, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, and receivable
• Knowledge of Austria's corporate requirements, VAT, corporate tax, and auditing processes
• Familiarity with international telegraphic transfer procedures
• Ability to manage accounting figures and financial records accurately
• Strong data entry skills and numerical aptitude
• Experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• High proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in MS Office and Oracle Netsuite
• Attention to detail and high accuracy
• Knowledge of MiCAR financial requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting and professional qualifications
• Desirable: Experience in cryptocurrency exchanges or brokerages, regulatory interactions, multi-currency operations
