Your role and responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to represent the product and solutions from the global divisions to the countries to drive sales and market growth. Each day, you will support in proactive business development aligned with the division strategy in the countries where business conditions require increased attention and focus. Provides business support, including expertise in products, applications, solutions, and segment and customer (group) support for the assigned product portfolio, ensuring sustainable deployment of the division's strategic plan. Facilitates activities to drive profitable business growth.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Business Line Energy Distribution, Smart Buildings division in Vittuone, Italy. Main stakeholders are End Users, Panel builders, Consultants and, internally, local sales units.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the go-to-market product marketing strategy for the Energy Management products portfolio, including defining and communicating product value propositions, product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy, and defining the product promotion strategy in cooperation with the local sales units.
  • Focusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested.
  • Evaluating market opportunities, determining appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate.
  • Ensuring balanced growth for all product lines, product groups, and business units and creating product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing a value-based selling approach.
Qualifications for the role
  • Possess enhanced knowledge of Energy Management products, with proven experience in the understanding of the solutions and applications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification in Engineering
  • You have at least 5-7 years of experience in Sales, Commercial or Product Marketing roles and established skills in sales and marketing strategies definition
  • You are at ease communicating in English, knowledge of any other European language will be considered a plus
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams
  • Willingness to travel (30-40%) also internationally is required
