The Retail Buyer is responsible for purchases for the assigned stores and brands/collections, ensuring the Brand image is transmitted through the store and economic objectives are achieved. The core responsibilities are guaranteeing an adequate supply of products, collecting store feedback on collections, and supporting the Buying Manager in in‑season analysis to maximize activity and store efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
- 1.01 Analyse sell‑in and sell‑out data by brand, collection, category, model and product class to support the Buying Manager in defining assortments.
- 1.02 Keep the weekly sell‑out data updated during the season, classified by brand, collection, category, model and product class, and share this information with the Buying Manager.
- 1.03 Manage structured reports on the performance of the products purchased from the relevant sales points, including needs or replenishments.
- 1.04 Know the collections in detail.
- 1.05 Know the reference market and its competition in depth.
- 1.06 Complete any other tasks assigned by the Buying Manager related to purchases.
- 1.07 Promote the development of role learning through proactive activities, team and digital initiatives aimed at innovation and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of responsibilities.
- 1.08 Promote, adopt and develop the use of digital technologies within the function in relation to process management and relations with internal and external interlocutors involved in the business.
- 1.09 Adopt significant behaviours and promote operational/cultural actions for Sustainable Development, understood as the interconnection of practices oriented towards the care of the environment, business processes and organisational community.
- 1.10 Participate in the implementation of product learning projects and contribute to their transfer to store staff so that this occurs consistently and effectively with respect to the reference collection.
- 1.11 Maintain a constant exchange with the reference channel to collect commercial feedback on the collection.
Qualifications
- Degree in Economics.
- Master in Fashion Management / Buying and Merchandising.
- Previous experience in the role (at least 6 months / 1 year).
- Excellent knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent knowledge of English.
