Position Summary:

Provides professional and technical skills and knowledge to ensure safe recovery of patients from anesthesia. Overseen by the Charge Nurse. Reports directly to the Director of Perioperative Services.

Salary Range:

Hourly Rate
Minimum: $42.20
Midpoint: $55.73
Maximum: $69.86

Required Qualifications:

1. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in PACU.
2. Knowledge of growth and development over the life span. Knowledge of dysrhythmias and appropriate interventions.
3. Current CA RN license, CPR, PALS, and ACLS.
4. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
5. Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
6. Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
8. Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
