Senior Manager Raw Materials, Accessories

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate three team members of the Raw Material Team, ensuring all working steps of Raw Material leather, fabrics and hardware, from R&D to Industrialization, are accurately followed to avoid issues.
- Monitor calendar deadlines and ensure material launches hit due dates.
- Handle line handoff to guarantee timely material launches.
- Control the supply chain by consolidating suppliers to guarantee top final quality at the best price point.
- Weekly touch base with designers and product development teams to collaborate, guide material selection and product development, anticipating risks and issues.
- Continuously monitor development timing and find solutions in case of delays or issues.
- Conduct costing analysis, pushing for target prices from PMT starting with development.
- Ensure costings are entered in AT for the requested deadline, including estimated tool/die costs.
- Conduct quality analysis during development and pre‑test new materials, material combinations, and special workmanship to avoid risks.
- Participate in product review in Milan with designers, product development, QA team and vendors.
- Ensure steel molds and tools launch on time for bulk production.
- Coordinate with the Production Team to forecast the best TSS based on materials, workmanship, embroideries, etc., to hit deadlines.
- Ensure all material information is passed on to the production team for bulk.
- Follow the industrialization process.
- Align industrialization with QA and work with product development during PPS approvals.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- 10‑12 years of experience in accessories raw materials.
- 10+ years of experience in accessories product development.
- Excellent knowledge of English and Italian (verbal and written).
- Knowledge of leather, fabrics and accessories construction.
- Ability to regularly reposition priorities to accommodate frequent change.
- Strong communication skills.
- Problem‑solving, results‑oriented and detail‑oriented personality.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to interact with design, merchandising and logistical support groups.
- Well‑developed computer skills and systems orientation.
- Excellent organizational skills.
