A leading transport solutions provider is looking for a Project Engineering Manager based in Italy. The role involves managing the technical contractual scope of the project and ensuring delivery according to agreed quality, cost, and performance. Ideal candidates will have a strong engineering background and proven experience in managing technical projects. You will lead cross-functional teams and drive the success of engineering activities. Fluency in English is required.

• Manage the technical contractual scope of the project.
• Manage the project technical risks and the corresponding mitigation plan.
• Validate the technical design choices with the peers and Solution Director.
• Deploy the applicable engineering process, methods & tools on the project.
• Manage the project solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance commitments.
• Be responsible for the project design and application engineering activities.
• Supervise Verification & Validation activities.

Conoscenze

Engineering background including project deployment full lifecycle view

Relevant experience in managing technical projects

Hands-on experience on functional or hierarchical team management

Cost and planning control experience in engineering scope

Hands-on experience on Customer relationship in contractual situations

Strong leadership skills

Fluent written and spoken English

Your Role:

As a Project Engineering Manager you will manage the technical contractual scope of the project ensuring its delivery according to the quality, cost, performance and scheduled commitment originally agreed and, if applicable, updated as a result of negotiated variation orders.

• Manage the technical contractual scope of the project
• Manage the project technical risks and the corresponding mitigation plan
• Validate the technical design choices with the peers and Solution Director
• Deploy the applicable engineering process, methods & tools on the project
• Manage the project solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance (QCDP) commitments
• Be responsible of the project design and application engineering activities
• Supervise Verification & Validation activities
