A renewable energy company is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager in Milan to help optimize procurement of wind turbines for projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in procurement (preferably in wind energy) and strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English is essential. A competitive salary is offered, and interviews are in August.

We’re expanding and so is our procurement team! OX2 is now seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team and support the procurement of wind turbines during the construction phase of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the procurement team to develop procurement strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage commercial and risk aspects.
2. Support negotiations and stakeholder management with suppliers, contractors, project managers, engineers, and legal advisors.
3. Plan, procure, and negotiate turbine supply agreements (TSA) and service & maintenance agreements (SMA).
4. Identify opportunities to optimize procurement processes, such as project bundling or schedule adjustments.
5. Analyze supplier information, including credit risk and production capacity.
6. Provide support during construction and operational phases, including claim management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar procurement role, preferably in the wind energy industry.
• Expertise in negotiations, commercial management, and contract risk management.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and planning skills.
