To help fuel that growth, we need a Data Scientist to join our Pricing & Underwriting team (If you're curious, you can get a glimpse of the team's life here ).

This team is the strategic engine behind Prima’s growth.

As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in shaping our business strategy and driving innovation. By combining advanced analytics and machine learning, you’ll help keep our pricing competitive and our risk under control. You’ll work at the intersection of data science and real-world impact, collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn insights into action.

What you’ll do :

• Leverage artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics to identify risks and opportunities for each new client;
• Analyze and interpret complex data to support strategic decision-making;
• Contribute directly to the company’s growth and long-term success through actionable insights.

What we’re looking for :

• Academic Excellence : Impressive academic achievements in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Physics, or Statistics are a plus;
• Experience Not Required : No prior work experience? No problem! We're eager to invest in your talent and education;
• Analytical Prowess : Strong quantitative, logical, and analytical skills are essential. At Prima, you'll tackle diverse and stimulating challenges that will put your skills to the test;
• Curiosity and Innovation : We value curiosity, proactivity, and pragmatism. You'll be encouraged to pursue common goals in original and innovative ways, shaping the future with your ideas.

Nice-to-have :

• Have international experience and are fluent in English and Italian;
• Possess a solid foundation in programming and machine learning;
• Know how to create and manipulate datasets using data mining languages like MySQL or Redshift.
