Marketing & Communication Manager

For a 4*S hotel part of a national hotel chain in the heart of Milan, we are looking for a

Marketing & Communication Manager

The candidate, reporting directly to the Group Marketing Director and to the General Manager of the Hotel, will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Group Marketing Director in defining the new strategy and positioning of the Hotel
• Management of the Hotel Budget regarding Marketing activities/initiatives
• Organization (planning and coordination) of photo and video shoots, management of sponsorship requests and local partnerships
• Updating and managing the website and platforms with new content, photos, videos, and promotions
• Coordination of content development and editorial plan for Hotel's social channels
• Coordination of strategic activities for sponsored social media campaigns
• Local press management (e.g., publishing hotel events, managing relationships with local press, sharing initiatives/press releases, event invitations)
• Creation of an in-house calendar of events
• Enhancement of Marketing & Communication opportunities with Luxury Travel Networks
• Define the communication plan and calendar of events for the F&B outlets
• Develop, in collaboration with the PR Director, a customized program for national and international journalists, influencers, correspondents, and local press
• Support the Hotel General Manager in managing relationships with local institutions/organizations to which the Hotel is linked

Requirements:

• Proven working experience in Marketing & Communication (at least 3/4 years)
• Previous work experience in hospitality is a plus
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Excellent leadership and strong team player
• Proven social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
• Knowledge and passion for luxury and hospitality and the most popular social media platforms
• Knowledge of luxury travel bloggers and influencers
• Positive attitude, attention to detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
• Fluency in both Italian and English
