Purpose of the Job
The main purpose of the role is to provide technical support to maintenance activities (on site or by remote) on Trackside signalling products (switch point machines/axle counters/Hot Box Detection) operated by the Alstom domestic and international Customers.
The role includes the responsibility to be the technical Customer interface in global service maintenance contracts and to manage warranty obligations on the projects in the scope of Alstom Ferroviaria SpA being the Warranty work package owner in charge of QCD (quality, cost and delivery) KPI.
Position in the Organization
The position will be part of Services Signalling Business Unit Organization - Maintenance Operations Team.
Network & Links
Internal relationships with other Alstom functions: System and Product Architects, PM, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Industrialization, Industrial Quality, Installation. External relationships with Customer infrastructure operators / maintenance technicians.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
The person will be responsible for these main activities:
The position includes the availability to perform activities outside the site (~90% of the time) in domestic/international areas and to be part of the team that support the customer during night activities on rail infrastructure.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Technical High School Diploma in Mechatronic or Mechanical/Electrotechnical with experience.
Experience
At least two years of experience on Electromechanical-Electronic company as on site or remote technical assistance is desirable. On top to this, Field service on Signalling equipments will be a plus.
