A global project management firm is seeking an experienced HSE Manager in Lerici, Italy. You will develop and implement HSE policies, conduct site inspections, and support the project team on HSE matters. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of HSE management experience, particularly in offshore projects, and demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills. This role requires fluency in English, and additional language skills are a plus.

Competenze

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the construction or oil and gas industry.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards in the MENA and Europe regions.
• Fluent in English, with knowledge of Arabic or other European languages considered an asset.

Job Description

General Description of Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for the LQ Yard operations, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide guidance and support to the LQ Yard team on HSE matters, including training and awareness programs.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Monitor and report on HSE performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure HSE requirements are met on all projects.
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness in case of an emergency.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in HSE, and implement changes as necessary.
• Manage and maintain HSE documentation and records.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the construction or oil and gas industry.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands‑on experience in offshore projects.
