IT Innovation Lead for Manufacturing & Quality

The Opportunity

As IT Innovation Lead for Manufacturing & Quality, you will take responsibility for identifying opportunities and innovative solutions related to the manufacturing and quality area. You will define the scope of delivery in collaboration with stakeholders, coordinate with the relevant IT and business teams, and ensure delivery of the agreed scope within the approved budget.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Managing innovation capability focused on Manufacturing and Quality.
• Development, support, maintenance and deployment of an AI-Driven Digital Quality Control platform.
• Leading a team of experts working on manufacturing, quality and software areas.
• Performing as a Technology Evangelist by demonstrating technical possibilities to business units and identifying opportunities to provide business value by leveraging new technologies.
• Driving technical discussion between business and technical colleagues, identifying how technology can solve a given business problem.
• Coordinating work with other teams and vendors to address demands.
• Creating a business and technical concept of the solution, PoC, technical analysis and supporting the estimation process, including visiting factories and other office locations.
• Proposing how solutions would scale for the future and how they should be maintained.

Your background

• Minimum 8+ years of experience overall in the IT area.
• 3+ years of experience within relevant IT domains.
• Education or experience in a given area as per role requirements.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Good understanding of IT and OT convergence in the manufacturing area.
• Good communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good analytical skills to understand and gather requirements.
• Willingness to learn and to find and test new tools.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
