A leading decarbonization technology company is seeking an IoT Energy Specialist based in Italy. The role involves configuring EDGE devices, implementing AI-IoT projects, and maintaining energy management systems. Candidates should have a technical diploma, knowledge of BMS programming, experience in IoT, and proficiency in English and Italian. This position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to sustainability efforts.

Competenze

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IoT, BMS or EMS.
• Knowledge of common field protocols (Modbus, BACnet).
• Ability to customize and automate tasks with scripting.

Responsibilities :

o Support the Delivery Lead to

o performing technical due diligence

o design project solution

o draft technical solution

o identify missing items and remediation plan

o define preliminary and executive project timeline

Setup EnOS projects, including :

o Configuration of EDGE device

o Onboard datapoints from sensors and BMS

o Check data correctness

o Configuration of device mapping and alarm

o Configuration of front-end view

o Final check and project validation

Implementation of Univers AI-IoT projects, including :

o UAT and project handover

o Identification and implementation of energy efficiency measures

o Project maintenance

o Periodical check of collected data

o Deep technical investigation in case of alarm and abnormal values

o Proposing updates of the system to the supervisor

Qualifications & Experience :

o Technical Diploma, Degree in Engineering is a plus

o Minimum of 2-3 years experience in IoT and / or BMS and / or Energy Management System (EMS) is required.

o Knowledge of the most common field protocols (Modbus, BACnet, …)

o Knowledge of BMS programming is considered essential.

o Familiarity with scripting or programming capabilities for customization and automation tasks (e.g., Python, Lua, JavaScript or similar) Is considered a plus

o Efficient in Office suite

o Italian mother-tongue

o Good knowledge of English
