For a leading international company we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager for the Italian Legal Entity based in Bologna.

This role includes ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, and complying with standards and regulations as well as managing a team of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring account accuracy as well as month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Ensure timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Manage collections and ensure timely payment receipts.
• Resolve discrepancies in accounts.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and other regulations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Coordinate audits and respond to audit inquiries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 5/6 years of experience in a similar role, with previous experience in people management (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS.
• Proficiency in SAP.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
