We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead complex technical initiatives in a GCP environment. This role sits within the Delivery Management domain and is ideal for someone who combines deep program leadership capabilities with strong technical awareness, particularly in cloud and data-driven environments.

You will oversee the successful execution of multi-stream projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations are met. A strong understanding of both Agile and traditional delivery models is essential, as well residence in Milan area as on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program delivery of cloud-based initiatives on Google Cloud Platform, managing cross-functional teams and multiple workstreams.
• Drive planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Engage and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Apply best practices in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, adapting the delivery model based on project context.
• Ensure effective risk management, resource planning, and issue resolution.
• Provide leadership, direction, and motivation to project teams in a matrixed environment.
• Manage and track project KPIs, producing high-quality documentation and reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical teams on projects involving data analytics, Neo4j graph databases, and application modernization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT project or program management.
• 3+ years managing cloud-native projects on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven experience delivering complex, multi-disciplinary technical programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Deep understanding of project management frameworks; PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
• Good command of English (spoken and written) and fluent Italian

Nice to Have

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Project Manager certification.
• Background in consulting or professional services environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager).
• Experience managing data analytics, ML, or application modernization projects on GCP.
