Eaton’s Mobility Group is currently seeking a Finance Analyst to join our Bosconero valves plant.
This position reports directly to the Plant Controller and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all finance-related activities within the plant. As a key member of the plant finance team, this role provides finance, accounting, and controlling insights for the Bosconero manufacturing plant. He/she will support month-end closing, reporting, and planning processes in compliance with SOX and internal audit guidelines. The role also focuses on personal development to become part of the regional finance talent pipeline.
Additionally, the Finance Analyst will dedicate approximately 25% of the time (around one day per week) to supporting activities at Headquarters in Turin, offering valuable exposure to HQ operations and collaboration – an excellent opportunity for professional growth and networking.
What You’ll Do
- Develop active P&L and balance sheet control for the sites within profit plan expectations.
- Ensure all standard VG EMEA reporting activities are timely and accurate.
- Implement improvements to monthly closing procedures ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Administer and manage daily finance operations as applicable to plant. Scope to include cost accounting, payables, billing, capital, and general accounting.
- Prepare capital appropriation requests in accordance with corporate policy. Ensure recommended capital projects provide appropriate returns on invested capital.
- Manage, analyze, and evaluate fixed asset and capital project system/data bases to ensure accurate and timely reporting of both actual and forecast data.
- Manage Cycle Count from finance side and support annual physical inventory ensuring compliance with corporate procedures and accuracy of physical count. Ensure appropriate cycle count procedures are deployed.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate department budget system. Develop and implement reports for management use in evaluating results against performance targets.
- Manage the process to identify and quantify cost out opportunities and related data capture in database. Ensure integrity of financial information related to cost out projects.
- Implement department activities related to process improvements and standard work. Assist in maintaining continuous improvement and team efforts for accomplishing department and plant goals.
- Ensure effective communication to appropriate stakeholders, with appropriate ad-hoc reports and analyses issued timely and accurately.
- Support site specific projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Business with emphasis on Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience within Finance.
