Job Description

We are looking for an experienced candidate who will execute Installation & Commissioning (I&C) of High Voltage Products at customer sites located in Italy and abroad. The candidate will operate by strictly following the health, safety & environment standards of Hitachi Energy, with the aim to deliver on-time and with quality that meets customers’ expectations.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Apply safety rules and safe practices, as well as environmental responsibilities. Report unsafe practices and incidents. Live by core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business.
• Perform installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance of equipment independently. Identify technical problems and analyze them through remote or on-site activities, including site acceptance testing and oil treatment.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing work according to customer orders and expectations. Maintain good relationships with customers. Ensure all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for installation and commissioning activities.
• Prepare all necessary documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative. Report work completed in a timely manner and follow up as needed.
• Troubleshoot simple equipment failures and make recommendations to prevent future issues.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.

Your Background

• Technical diploma and/or degree.
• Proficiency in Italian and English.
• Experience in a similar role within the High Voltage Products field is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate field technicians.
• Flexibility and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to travel mainly worldwide (90-100%).
