About the Role

As a Design Coordinator, you will play a key role in the architectural and executive design of cruise ship interiors, including public spaces, cabins, catering areas, and glazed façades. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating design activities, ensuring effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. You will also contribute to process optimization and provide technical solutions during both the design and construction phases.

The role involves frequent travel to operational vessels, terminals, and shipyards to conduct onboard surveys, validate technical solutions, and oversee refitting execution during drydock operations.

Cabins: Upgrades to furniture, systems, and finishes for enhanced comfort and usability

Glazed Structures: Structural glass, steel/aluminum frameworks, balustrades, and partitions

  • Redesign of spaces to convert public areas into cabins (and vice versa) to meet capacity and service requirements
  • Produce technical drawings, bills of materials, material pre-orders, and production documentation
  • Coordinate with external design studios and technical partners
  • Conduct onboard surveys and integrate findings into design documentation
  • Act as technical liaison with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and shipyard teams

From concept to onboard execution, you’ll contribute to projects that elevate passenger experience and set new benchmarks in naval interior design and engineering.
