With multiple production facilities across Italy, Marine Interiors operates in both new building and complex refitting projects worldwide.
Manpower, in partnership with Marine Interiors, is looking for a Design Coordinator to join the Cruise Ship Refitting Division.
About the Role
As a Design Coordinator, you will play a key role in the architectural and executive design of cruise ship interiors, including public spaces, cabins, catering areas, and glazed façades. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating design activities, ensuring effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. You will also contribute to process optimization and provide technical solutions during both the design and construction phases.
The role involves frequent travel to operational vessels, terminals, and shipyards to conduct onboard surveys, validate technical solutions, and oversee refitting execution during drydock operations.
Key Responsibilities
Public Areas: Functional and aesthetic layout redesign (restaurants, lounges, theaters, etc.)
Catering Zones: Optimization of food and beverage preparation and service areas
Cabins: Upgrades to furniture, systems, and finishes for enhanced comfort and usability
Glazed Structures: Structural glass, steel/aluminum frameworks, balustrades, and partitions
