Ideal candidates have a degree in economics or engineering and at least 2 years of experience in demand planning, preferably within the beauty sector. A leading Global Beauty Group is seeking a Demand Planner to be based in their offices in Milan.

Reporting to the Global Demand Planning Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and aligning global demand plans, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the local S &OP process in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance, following the established monthly cycle.
• Prepare and communicate final product forecasts to Supply Chain teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales & Marketing regarding demand planning and forecasting.
• Ensure full alignment between commercial plans and demand plans.
• Proactively identify risks, constraints, and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring clear communication to internal stakeholders.
• Deliver regular reporting and analysis on key KPIs, including forecast accuracy, bias, rejections, and monthly forecast changes.

What we look for

• Solid experience in Demand Planning, ideally within the perfume / fragrance, cosmetics, beauty, or mass-market sectors, with at least 2 years in a demand planning role.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in economics or engineering.
• Ideally, experience with FuturMaster as a Demand Planning tool.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP systems.
• Strong relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Highly analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving global supply chain environment.
• Fluency in Italian and English (French is a plus).
