The PhD program focuses on local and regional development issues, employing a multidisciplinary approach that combines regional and urban economics, economic and human geography, spatial planning, and sociology.
The program duration is four years, starting on November 1st, 2018.
GSSI provides all students with free accommodation and meals, along with a yearly scholarship of €16,159.91 gross. An additional 50% scholarship may be awarded for research periods abroad, subject to approval.
