Are you eager to take on a new challenge?

We are seeking a Buyer to join our headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese (BO). Reporting to the Commodity Manager in Procurement, you will manage a specific material group within areas such as Exteriors, Interiors, Electrical/Electronic, or Powertrain.

You will be a key contributor to our procurement team, supporting the delivery of innovative technical solutions on time, with high quality and cost efficiency. Your role involves organizing supply chains, engaging with suppliers globally, and working on vehicle projects within a collaborative environment.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading price negotiations and award decisions through a global Bidder’s List
• Identifying and leading cost-saving initiatives, including supplier visits
• Scouting for new suppliers and innovations, focusing on economics and sustainability
• Analyzing market trends to develop acquisition strategies
• Participating in VW Group commodity meetings to align purchasing strategies
• Involving early in projects to define optimal technologies
• Utilizing the latest e-procurement tools
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams

About you

• University degree in Engineering
• 4-5 years of procurement experience
• Automotive sector experience is a plus
• Fluent in English and Italian; German skills are a plus
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to manage complex supply chains
• Target-oriented with analytical skills
