Description

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Associate Control Center & Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Genoa, Italy.

Accountabilities:

Help desk activities for remote and centralized Maintenance activities
Guarantee corrective and preventive maintenance task starting, performance and closing including associated logistics and spares activities
Monitoring and analysis of Reliability & Maintainability figures and operational performance of in- service equipment support trouble shooting and fault founding activities
Updating and maintaining “as maintained“ SW & HW Configuration
Reporting activities

Required Skills/Knowledge:

Bachelor’s Degree in technical area or equivalent technical background
From 0 up to 3 years Experience in maintenance activities or equivalent
Testing & Fault finding
Incident/accident investigation
Knowledge of technologies
Maintenance
Railway Safety Rules & Regulations
Statistical analysis and “data management”
Use of maintenance tools
knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems;
knowledge HW infrastructures (Server, Storage and Blade);
knowledge of virtualized environments;
knowledge of network infrastructures;
knowledge of the English language;
troubleshooting ability.

The maintenance activity is provided 24 x 7 and the technicians are organized in shifts.

Education/Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in technical area or Equivalent Technical Background.

Languages:

Italian mother tongue. Fluent in English.
