Your role

We are looking for a Smart Manufacturing & Connected Systems Specialist to join our Business Process Innovation (BPI) team. The role focuses on supporting and executing projects in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Operational Technology (OT), and Business Intelligence (BI), contributing to our digital transformation roadmap across global operations.

The ideal candidate has a solid technical background, hands-on experience with MES and OT environments, and a passion for data-driven innovation and agile digitalization projects. The role involves working closely with Manufacturing Engineering, IT, and other BPI teams to implement digital solutions that enhance efficiency, traceability, and performance on the shop floor.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of innovation projects through all phases: requirements gathering, functional analysis, technical specifications, testing, go-live, and post-deployment monitoring.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, system integrators, and solution providers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Analyze shop floor data and develop Business Intelligence reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor operational performance.
  • Provide daily support for MES and OT solutions, including troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with other BPI Centers of Excellence (e.g., Digital Manufacturing DIGMA, Digital-SPC, AI & Advanced Analytics, Traceability, Smart Retail Operations) to ensure consistency and share knowledge across initiatives.

Main requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, Industrial Automation, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of MES, OT systems, Power BI, and other digital manufacturing projects.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and Industry 4.0 principles.
  • Familiarity with systems such as SCADA, PLCs, data historians, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of French or other languages is a plus.
