We are seeking an experienced and innovative Group Technology Engineering Manager with a strong background in the paper or a similar industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and driving technological advancements across the company’s production processes, both for existing products and new product development. This role requires a deep understanding of industry-specific technologies, a proactive approach to finding innovative solutions, and the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the executive team to develop and implement a long-term technology strategy for the company, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  2. Innovation Leadership: Lead and foster innovation in production processes by identifying and integrating new technologies that enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
  3. Product Development: Collaborate with product development teams to identify technological solutions for existing and new products. Drive technology roadmaps for new product lines.
  4. Process Improvement: Analyze current production methods, identify inefficiencies or technological gaps, and lead the implementation of advanced engineering solutions to improve performance, reduce costs, and optimize resource usage.
  5. Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of engineers, promoting continuous learning and technical excellence. Ensure cross-departmental collaboration to meet business objectives.
  6. Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with external technology providers and vendors, ensuring the appropriate selection and integration of technologies and equipment.
  7. Sustainability & Compliance: Ensure all technological initiatives comply with industry standards and environmental regulations, promoting sustainability in production processes.
