Job summary

A growing financial lender in Hyderabad seeks a professional to lead credit underwriting for the Loan Against Property segment. This role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, guiding credit managers, and monitoring the credit portfolio. Candidates with experience in credit risk management and leadership are preferred. Responsibilities

• Lead credit underwriting for Loan Against Property segment.
• Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze the credit portfolio regularly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate products.
• Collaborate with the data analytics and policy team to proactively contribute towards real time calibration of credit policies
• Decisioning of transactions within agreed TAT for salaried and self-employed profiles
• Recommend changes in credit policies and processes based on portfolio analysis and its movement
• Promoting the culture of teamwork within the team, upgrading the skills of credit managers with credit, market and industry intelligence
• Monitoring and analysis of the portfolio on a regular basis
• Ensure compliance to vendor management requirements like vendor empanelment, invoice processing and review of vendors as per company policy
• PDD tracking, monitoring and compliances
• Collections of bounced EMI and support to collections team for higher bucket cases
• Location visits and training to branch credit teams on credit policy acceptance criteria
• Location-specific policy recommendation
• Ensure disbursement by the branches as per Ops checklist for all approved cases and help branches achieve business targets

Job Description

• Credit underwriting of Loan Against Property segment as per defined risk philosophy and credit policy of the company
• Lead the team of area credit managers/credit managers and guide them to adhere to policy and process requirements
• Ensure Audit and regulatory compliance and provide clarification and justification for resolution of audit observations
• Implement good practices and share early warning trends with teams
• Collaborate with the teams of Business development, Tech, Product and Operations & support on offering innovative products
• Collaborate with the data analytics and policy team to proactively contribute towards real time calibration of credit policies
