Humour Me Pvt. Ltd. in Delhi NCR is seeking a creative YouTube writer for a long-form content project for a leading consumer brand. You will craft scripts from research, briefs, and ideas, shaping everyday India into engaging stories.

You’ll develop hooks, narrative structures, and payoffs that work for YouTube, while conducting rigorous research and honoring editorial guidelines. The role is full-time and based in Delhi NCR, with relocation open to successful candidates.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience writing long-form YouTube content.
• Strong understanding of YouTube storytelling, hooks and audience retention.
• Excellent research and fact-checking skills.
• Ability to structure a story rather than simply compile information.
• Strong conversational writing style.
• Ability to write in English/Hinglish.
• Comfort working with feedback, revisions and brand constraints.
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong storytelling.

We’re looking for a creative YouTube writer to work on a long-form content project for a leading consumer brand.

The project explores everyday India through stories, observations, data and culture. The goal is to take something ordinary and uncover the more interesting story underneath.

What you’ll do:

• Write long-form YouTube scripts from research, briefs and creative ideas
• Turn everyday subjects into engaging, story-led narratives
• Find the larger human, cultural, behavioural or business insight within a simple topic
• Create strong hooks, narrative structures and payoffs that work for YouTube
• Conduct research and turn information into storytelling rather than simply presenting facts
• Find creative angles while working within brand, factual and editorial guidelines
• Make branded content feel like good content first
• Work closely with the creative and production team through ideation, drafts and revisions

What we’re looking for

YouTube writing experience is strongly preferred. However, in exceptional cases, we’re open to writers from other formats or backgrounds who demonstrate outstanding storytelling ability through their work and the assignment.

Bonus if you have

• Experience with documentary, explainer, culture, business or storytelling-led YouTube content
• Experience with branded content or consumer brands
• A strong understanding of Indian culture, consumers and internet behaviour
• A habit of watching and analysing good YouTube content
• The ability to find interesting stories in seemingly mundane subjects
