Job summary

Cerebra in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced Workday integrations expert to lead end-to-end development of complex integrations and reporting. The role demands hands-on expertise in Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and DT, with deep knowledge of HCM data models and integration patterns.

The ideal candidate will design and troubleshoot multi-level calculated fields, complex reports, and use SOAP/REST APIs to connect systems, while independently debugging and solving root-cause issues.

Must-Have Skills

8+ years of direct, hands-on development experience with Workday integrations (must not require technical coding mentorship).

Expertise in Workday Custom Reports & Calculated Fields:

Advanced Reports, Data Sources, and Business Object navigation.

Complex multi-level Calculated Fields (LRV, ESI, EMI, EE, T/F, formatting, dates).

Strong hands-on Workday Studio skills:

Assembly components, MVEL expressions, Java mediation, and error-handling steps.

Experience with EIBs, Core Connectors, and Document Transformation (DT).

Solid functional and data model understanding of Workday Core HCM (Worker, Organization, Position Management, Staffing Transactions).

Familiarity with Workday Web Services (SOAP) and REST APIs.

Strong independent debugging and root-cause analysis skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Functional and data model experience with Workday Recruiting.

Middleware / backend development exposure (Java, Spring Boot, or external REST API services).

Exposure to external enterprise integration endpoints (ServiceNow, Box, or message queues).

Familiarity with modern AI agent integration concepts or Model Context Protocol (MCP).
