Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a Workday Consultant with a track record of end-to-end deployments and strong HCM expertise. You will own configuration changes, support multiple client AMS engagements, and collaborate with the team to deliver integrated HR solutions across core HCM and related modules.

Applicants should have experience in complex integrations between HR, Payroll and Finance, and be able to configure and test functional changes while maintaining clear communication with

Responsibilities

• Own configuration changes to existing Workday system.
• Provide configuration support for at least 2 clients in HCM Core, Hire to Retire.
• Work on Business Process setup and integration design/development.
• Test functional changes to Workday modules and ensure quality deliveries.
• Communicate clearly with team and Customer; act as a strong team player.

Role & responsibilities

Workday Consultant with experience in successful end-to-end implementations or support on Workday functional / technical areas. This individual should have qualities to be part of a team of Workday Consultants and collaborate with the team and the Customer. This person should be able to own configuration changes to existing Workday system.

• Configuration support for at least 2 clients handled on AMS model for HCM Core, Hire to Retire


• Experience in Business Process setup


• General knowledge of at least 2-3 Workday functional areas (mandatory Core HCM and any of these modules- Absence, Recruitement, Comp/Adv.Comp or Benefits)


• Experience with highly complex integrations preferably between HR, Payroll and Finance


• Ability to configure and test functional changes to Workday modules


• Good written & oral communication skills & strong team player


• Functional Consultant/Lead role on at least 2 end-to-end deployments for Workday HCM

Preferred candidate profile

• Implementation/ Support projects execution and governance with the customer team.


• Gather Business requirements and provide configuration support of Core HCM, Absence, Payroll, Recruitment and Talent Management modules


• Work independently or with Team Lead and/or Project Manager to participate in integration Design/Development


• Maintain continuously and support existing integrations by resolving defects (if any), enhance and apply required updates, as necessary


• Work in a team of workday configuration and integration analysts to craft technical specifications.


• Analyze business requirements and produce detail and solution specifications consulting with Client Process Owners about standard methodologies for HR processes in Workday.


• Ensure the productive operations of Workday System Architecture including all interfaces (integrations) as well as custom reports/dashboards.


• Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalat[e] concerns


• Ability to work with the team that can be geographically dispersed, in planning support and be available to support or guide as and when necessary
