Job summary

Kognitiv Inc. is seeking a seasoned Workday consultant to architect complex solutions and dashboards. You will bridge Adaptive Planning with Workday HCM/Financials and own medium-to-large projects from discovery to Go-Live.

Responsibilities include architecting integrations, leveraging advanced Excel, and mentoring junior consultants to strengthen our team’s expertise and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in writing Workday reports for ledger, dimensions, income stmt and balance sheet.

What You’ll Do

• Architect Complex Solutions: Design and configure multi-dimensional models, sheets, and dashboards that handle the intricacies of global business.
• Bridge the Ecosystem: Ensure seamless data integrity by aligning Adaptive Planning with Workday HCM and Financial Management.
• Lead the Full Lifecycle: Take full ownership of medium-to-large projects (Acquisitions, Phase X, etc.) from initial scoping and discovery through to Go-Live.
• Master the Data Flow: Architect integrations between Workday and external data sources using advanced ETL methodologies.
• Elevate the Team: Act as a hands‑on mentor for less experienced consultants, contributing to our internal knowledge base and refining our "Kognitiv Point of View".

Technical Skills

• Adaptive Modeling Mastery: Extensive, direct hands‑on experience configuring within an Adaptive instance (sheet modeling, structure modeling, and creating sophisticated OfficeConnect reports). Note: While an FP&A background is a plus, end‑user experience alone is not sufficient.
• Workday Report Writing: Working knowledge and comfort writing Workday reports to fetch ledger account, level, dimension, attribute, income statement, balance sheet, and position data.
• Integration Prowess: Hands‑on experience architecting integrations (including "Power of One") between Workday, HCM, Financials, and external data sources.
• Advanced Excel Skills: You are an Excel wizard; it is the foundation of everything we build.

• Leadership Grit: The ability to autonomously manage multiple, parallel projects with high complexity without needing a roadmap handed to you.
• Communication & Teamwork: Exceptional communication skills with a genuine willingness to coach, support, and mentor junior consultants.
