Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking dynamic, passionate, and motivated individuals to join our team as Online English Tutors. As an Online English Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to students of varying age groups and proficiency levels. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging and interactive online English lessons with students using various teaching platforms.
• Assess students proficiency levels and tailor lessons to meet their individual learning needs and goals.
• Provide constructive feedback on students progress, identifying areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement lesson plans, exercises, and activities that enhance learning.
• Assist students with homework, assignments, and projects to reinforce language skills.
• Maintain regular communication with students and their parents (if applicable) to track progress and resolve any concerns.
• Utilize multimedia and technology to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions and workshops to improve teaching techniques and skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A bachelors degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification (highly desirable).
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage students effectively.
• Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.).
• Patience, adaptability, and the ability to work with students of different learning styles.
• Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required.

Experience:

• Prior experience teaching or tutoring English (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience working remotely or in a virtual learning environment is a plus.

Working Hours:

• Flexible working hours, with the ability to schedule classes based on your availability.
• Full-time or part-time positions available.
• Evening and weekend shifts may be required depending on student needs (especially for international students in different time zones).
