WordPress Responsibilities

• Assist the development team in designing and building responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly WordPress websites based on client requirements and brand guidelines.
• Theme and plugin customization:
  • Work with both free and premium WordPress themes and plugins to customize their appearance and functionality using PHP, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Modify themes or create child themes when necessary.
• Responsive and SEO-friendly implementation:
  • Ensure that all web pages are mobile-responsive and follow best practices for SEO, including optimized page structure, image compression, metadata usage, and clean code practices.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance:
  • Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, or compatibility problems across different browsers and devices.
  • Regularly check for and apply WordPress updates for security and performance optimization.
• Content management:
  • Assist in uploading, formatting, and organizing content (text, images, videos, etc.) using the WordPress dashboard or page builders like Elementor, WP Bakery, or Gutenberg to ensure consistency and professionalism across the site.

B. Shopify Responsibilities

• Store setup and configuration:
  • Assist in the end-to-end setup of Shopify stores, including domain integration, payment gateways, shipping settings, and store policies as per the client's business needs.
• Theme customization:
  • Modify existing Shopify themes or work with custom themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify's templating language (Liquid) to tailor the website's look and functionality.
• Product and collection management:
  • Add, update, and organize product listings and collections, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, inventory, and categorization for smooth customer navigation and shopping experience.
• Research, install, and configure third-party apps to enhance store capabilities (e.g., email marketing tools, live chat, upsell/cross-sell features).
• Ensure compatibility and proper functionality.
• UI/UX enhancement and bug fixing:

  • Collaborate with the design and development team to improve the visual and functional aspects of the store.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve layout, loading speed, or checkout-related issues to optimize the user experience.
