The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in custom theme and plugin development, website optimization, and modern frontend technologies. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges while delivering scalable, secure, and visually appealing web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• WordPress Development
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
• Create custom themes and plugins based on project requirements
• Implement new features and functionalities following WordPress best practices
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of websites

Frontend & Backend Skills

• Convert Figma/PSD designs into fully functional WordPress pages
• Work with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Handle API integrations, third-party plugin customizations, and troubleshooting

Website Optimization

• Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and SEO best practices
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile-friendly designs
• Perform regular updates, security patches, and maintenance checks

Problem-Solving & Support

• Identify and fix bugs, UI issues, and performance challenges
• Support the team with technical insights and suggestions
• Collaborate closely with designers, testers, and project managers

Experience and Skills

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience as a WordPress Developer
• Strong expertise in custom theme and plugin development
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with page builders such as Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery (optional)
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals and website performance optimization
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Knowledge of WooCommerce is a strong advantage

Good to Have

• Experience with REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
