WordPress Developer Job Profile

WordPress Developer Duties and Responsibilities

1. Creation of WordPress theme from scratch.
2. Customization of plugins.
3. Knowledge of hooks creation, taxonomy creation.
4. Creation of plugin is a plus point.
5. Knowledge of Shopify is a plus point, Shopify Theme installation and customization.

WordPress Developer Requirements and Qualifications

1. Senior level software development experience (5+ years), using multiple programming languages. PHP7 and JavaScript AJAX are primary working languages used.
2. Senior level SQL/database experience (5+ years).
3. Solid experience with agile development, familiarity with test-driven development, git, Jira, and other modern development tools.
4. Proven experience building, managing, and leading a team of developers.
5. Modify and update existing WordPress themes.
6. Proficiency in creating HTML to WordPress theme.
7. Strong knowledge of core PHP & WordPress.
8. SEO optimization for images, content, and website performance.
9. Familiarity with WordPress command-line interface (WP-CLI) as well as WordPress themes, plugin development, and customization.

Note: Familiarity with PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, and Symfony is an added advantage.
