Job summary

Wodehouse is looking for Associate/Senior Associate in Mumbai to execute M&A deals end-to-end, including origination, pitching and closing. You will conduct market research, support business development and prepare deal materials.

Responsibilities include financial modelling, DCF, comps, and preparing CIMs and valuations, while developing strong relationships with clients and advisors in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in M&A deal execution.
• Education: CA, MBA or CFA.
• Strong financial modelling and research skills.
• Proven ability to create deal collateral (CIMs, valuations, pitchbooks).
• Willingness to learn and be coachable.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end transaction execution from origination to closing.

We have open positions for Associate / Senior Associates – Investment Banking (M&A Front-End Deal Execution Role) at Mumbai (Wadala East, New Cuffe Parade)

The key requirements for these positions are:

• – Support in the end-to-end execution of transactions, including deal origination, pitching, preparing transaction collaterals (teaser, IM, business plan, etc.), managing due diligence and supporting in negotiation and transaction closing.
• – Market research: Track market trends, evaluate segments of high transaction activity, track key developments across industries and government policies in order to identify new client opportunities.
• – Business development: Reach out to potential clients and help the senior team members in pitch preparation.
• – Transaction collaterals: Independently prepare teasers, detailed information memoranda and other supporting materials.
• – Financial analysis: Carry out in-depth financial modelling and valuation analysis including discounted cash flow DCF, comparable companies and transactions evaluation.
• – Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, investors, legal advisors and other third parties.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 1. Relevant Experience – 3 to 7 years in M&A Deal Execution
