Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, deploying, and securing cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot and optimize cloud services.
• Willingness to work with DevSecOps and cross-functional teams.
• Strong scripting skills to automate operations.

What success looks like in this role:

• Provides Cloud Engineering support for an assigned set of applications / services.
• Assists with the design, development and implementation of secure, scalable infrastructure for cloud services.
• Supports team efforts to improve the reliability, quality and performance of cloud-hosted systems.
• Helps implement security measures to protect data and infrastructure in the cloud (i.e., such as firewalls, encryption, access controls).
• Contributes to the deployment, maintenance and scaling of cloud-based solutions.
• Troubleshoots cloud systems and helps with bottleneck management and other system improvements.
• Assists with the measurement and optimization of system performance.
• Monitors and troubleshoots cloud systems for potential bottlenecks, identifying possible solutions and working with DevSecOps, Software Engineering and other engineers on resolution strategies.
• Writes and maintains custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reduce intervention time required.
• Participates in system design consulting, platform management and capacity planning.
