Job summary

Base8 is seeking a hybrid Web & Graphic Designer to join our team in Hyderabad. You will collaborate with the US team via video, email, and chat to craft engaging websites and branding materials. The role requires a strong eye for typography, color, and user experience, with experience on WordPress and CMS platforms.

You will develop marketing collateral, design briefs, and promotional assets, and contribute to website maintenance, architecture, and responsive layouts across devices.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of Website Designer experience with global clients
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD or similar tools
• Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Knowledge of SEO, meta tags, Google Analytics, image ads, webmaster tools
• Experience with WordPress themes/plugins and CMS platforms

Who You Are:

This position will be a Hybrid/WFO and you will be working closely with the team in the United States through video chat, instant messaging, e-mail, phone, and through our software. You are a creative and detail-oriented Web & Graphic Designer with a strong eye for visual design, typography, color, and user experience. You have the ability to turn ideas and business requirements into engaging, visually appealing websites and graphics. You are comfortable working with design tools, collaborating with teams, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines. You stay updated with current design trends and are passionate about creating designs that are both attractive and functional.

Job Description:

• Assist in developing and executing the company's marketing design and strategy
• Create promotional and branding materials
• Create design briefs according to internal requirements
• Develop promotional materials, including marketing collateral
• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
• Create slides and presentations for client meetings
• Facilitate website maintenance and updates
• Design and implement new features and functionality
• Complete design graphics for blog posts and social media; including Facebook, LinkedIn
• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software.
• Planned and developed website architecture using WordPress and other CMS platforms, including page structure, navigation, user flows, information architecture, and responsive layouts to deliver seamless experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Designed, customized, and optimized WordPress themes and plugins, translating UI/UX designs into functional, user-friendly, visually consistent, and brand-aligned websites; worked with platforms such as Webflow, Shopify, and other website builders'/CMS solutions as required.
• Utilize WordPress effectively for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins.

Requirements:

• 5-6 years of Website Designer experience working with global/international clients with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• B2B industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or any other similar tool or other visual design tools.
• Strong website designing and technical skills
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Should be highly creative with excellent design skills and coloring sense
• Must have knowledge of SEO, Meta tags, Title tags, Google Analytics, Image ads, and webmaster tools.
• Fluency in banner design, icon design, font creating, artwork, and drawing skills.
• Must be proficient in Adobe software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), MS Word, MS Excel, Pages, and WordPress
• Must have experience with media and internet advertisingDetail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Strong understanding of Element or editor and blog migration
• Must have knowledge of SEO, Meta tags, Title tags, Google Analytics, Image ads, and webmaster tools
• The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred.
