Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center India in Pune seeks a Senior Associate Web GIS Application Developer to deliver ArcGIS-based solutions and modernize field service operations. You will collaborate with global teams across Advisory, Assurance, Tax and Business Services, solving client challenges and mentoring junior members.

The role requires strong ArcGIS skills, JavaScript (React), Python scripting, and experience building/ deploying widgets and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years’ experience with Esri ArcGIS Software (Enterprise, Desktop, Server, ArcGIS Pro, Online)
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript framework – React etc.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS REST Services
• Ability to build ArcGIS Exp Builder widgets and Deploy
• Programming experience with ArcGIS JavaScript/REST APIs
• Extend/Customize ArcGIS Exp Builder Widgets (custom widgets) wherever deemed necessary
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to ever-changing situations
• Exemplary problem solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience in Python scriptingKnowledge of ArcPy will be an added advantage
• Experience in PostgreSQL versioned enterprise geodatabase, branch versioned experience is an added advantage
• Ability to work independently, take direction and proactively manage time and work to maintain project schedules
• Build CI/CD Pipelines for deployment
• Experience working in the Utilities domain will be an added advantage, along with domain knowledge specific to Electric and/or Gas
• Knowledge Of Esri Utility Network- Core Principles
• SubNetwork, Associations, Containment, Tracing etc.
• Proven knowledge of database design and PL/SQL query, stored procedure and trigger development
• Experience with the Agile methodology and Jira software
• Advanced Excel capabilities

Responsibilities

• Automating repetitive GIS tasks with scripts and workflows to boost efficiency and cut manual effort
• Build/Deploy custom GP Services and SOE/SOI as per requirements.
• Managing software in source control systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket
• Help building CI/CD pipelines for code deployment
• Facilitate UAT with the end users, participate and ST and SIT

As a Web GIS Application Developer - Senior Associate, you will engage in client support, leveraging your skills in business application consulting to deliver innovative solutions within our Field Service & Operations Modernisation practice. You will be instrumental in transforming client operations through the integration of advanced technologies, focusing on Maximo Consulting to enhance business processes and drive efficiency.

As a Senior Associate, you will utilize your problem-solving abilities and critical thinking to navigate complex scenarios and build meaningful client relationships. You will mentor junior team members, guiding them to uphold professional standards and develop their technical skills.
