The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WooCommerce, theme/plugin development, site migrations and speed optimisations. Collaboration with design, content, SEO and marketing teams is essential to deliver high‑quality digital solutions.

What you'll own

• Develop, maintain, and customise WordPress websites.
• Customise WordPress themes, plugins, and apps.
• Develop and modify website features based on business requirements.
• Create and manage e-commerce websites, product pages, forms, landing pages, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot website errors, bugs, and technical issues.
• Optimise websites for speed, performance, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
• Manage website updates, backups, security, domains, hosting, and basic cPanel operations.
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, payment gateways, forms, analytics, and other required services.
• Implement basic on-page SEO and technical SEO best practices.
• Coordinate with designers, content, SEO, and marketing teams for website requirements.
• Monitor website performance and recommend technical improvements.

Requirements

What we're looking for

• Good knowledge of WordPress.
• Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, page builders, and customisation.
• Understanding of databases and basic MySQL.
• Knowledge of website hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, and cPanel.
• Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations.
• Basic understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
• Knowledge of Git/version control will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Fresher or 1.5 years of relevant experience in WordPress, web development, or a similar role.
