Job summary

Accenture PLC is hiring a Web Developer Specialist in Mumbai to design, develop and maintain ecommerce websites and digital storefronts. You will implement responsive, mobile-first interfaces, integrate REST APIs and third-party commerce platforms, and collaborate with UX, product teams, and QA to ensure high performance and SEO compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with 7–11 years’ experience and strong skills in HTML5, CSS3,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• Experience with modern web technologies and e-commerce platforms.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React/Angular/Vue.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain e-commerce websites and digital storefronts.
• Build responsive UIs across product, category, search, and checkout pages.
• Integrate APIs, payment gateways, analytics tools, and third-party e-commerce solutions.
• Optimize performance, accessibility, and SEO compliance.
• Collaborate with UX, content teams, product managers, and QA to deliver digital experiences.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform code reviews, and support platform upgrades.

What would you do?

• Designs, develops, enhances, and maintains e commerce websites and digital storefronts, ensuring seamless user experiences, optimized performance, and alignment with brand, business, and platform requirements.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field. Relevant web development certifications are preferred.
• Organize, categorize and publish content and information using specific tools and channels, for use by different groups and individuals within the organization.

• Integrate APIs, payment gateways, analytics tools, and third party e commerce solutions
• Optimize website performance, page speed, accessibility, and SEO compliance
• Collaborate with UX designers, content teams, product managers, and QA teams to deliver digital experiences
• Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and production defects
• Conduct code reviews and follow development standards and best practices
• Support platform upgrades, feature releases, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor website health, security, and user engagement metrics
• Document technical solutions and maintain development artifacts
