Job summary

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
• Convert designs and client requirements into functional, user-friendly web pages.
• Build and customise WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Develop front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.
• Implement back-end functionality, database connections, and API integrations.
• Set up and maintain contact forms, booking systems, and e-commerce features.
• Improve website speed, mobile usability, accessibility, and compatibility across browsers.
• Implement technical SEO basics, including page structure, metadata, redirects, and sitemaps.
• Manage hosting, domains, DNS settings, SSL certificates, backups, and website deployment.
• Troubleshoot website errors, broken functionality, and security issues.
• Test changes before release and maintain clear documentation and version control.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, and team members to deliver projects on schedule.
• Provide ongoing website maintenance, updates, and technical support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant practical experience will also be considered.

• Ability to translate Figma designs into working websites.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Experience with website migrations, staging environments, and backup restoration.
• Previous experience working in a web development agency or IT services company.
• Knowledge of Konkani or Hindi for local client communication.

Working Conditions

Primarily office-based in Goa, with client meetings or site visits as required. Occasional after-hours support may be needed for website launches, planned maintenance, or urgent issues.
