JOB TITLE: Analyst BI Web Developer

DEPARTMENT: Business Intelligence & Analytics

LOCATION: Mumbai

REPORTS TO: Team Leader / Assistant Manager

SPAN OF CONTROL: None

Job purpose:

The Analyst – BI Analytics is responsible for (i) Gathering requirements from business stakeholders, (ii) Undertaking system design & development activities and (iii) Maintenance and support for already live applications. (iv) Conducting statistical analysis and highlighting areas of concerns in terms of Contact Centre statistical parameters; and providing regular analytics support to the team and external stakeholders

Principal accountabilities:

I. Managing reporting requirements from business stakeholders

• Write well designed, Testable, Efficient Code by using best web development practice.
• Create Web application Prototype & User Interface with HTML & CSS
• Work with stockholders to gather and refine specifications & requirement based on technical needs.
• Create & maintain Software Documentation.
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our Web applications.
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
• Collaborate with web designers to realize visual design intent

II. Undertake system design activities

• Translate functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs.
• Work independently to troubleshoot and make configuration changes on assigned systems.
• Ensure proper version control and configuration management.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for automation processes to ensure uninterrupted process continuity.
• Follow industry best practices and coding standards

III. Support databases maintenance activities

• Work closely with the Database team to ensure reporting efficiencies.
• Investigate and helps resolve problems relating to routine use of information systems and related equipment.

IV. To conduct statistical analysis and highlight areas of concerns in terms of Contact Centre statistical parameters:

• Analyzes available data and reports, by using statistical tools (if required), to gain better understanding of issues/concerns impacting business.
• Highlights areas of concerns in terms of contact center statistical parameters by translating raw data into business insights and strategies.
• Participates in activities such as modelling framework, defining data requirements, creating predictive variables, and coordinating model implementation with other business partners
• Develops business insights out of analysis and puts together management presentations in PowerPoint with minimal guidance.

• Understands Call Centre Metrics (Desirable)

Technical Competencies:

• Experience in Programming applications like such as Visual Studio, ASP.Net, C# is must.
• Hands-on experience in SQL Server is a must for querying, building stored procedures, etc.
• Deploying web applications on a cross-platform and cross-browser environment
• Conducting troubleshooting of website problems
• Hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript / JQuery is must.
• Hands-on experience of Application Testing is desirable.
• (Mandatory) Understands and knows statistical analysis using tools and programming languages - R and Python (Preferred).
• Knows how to work with VBA in EXCEL
• Demonstrates strong Excel capabilities, with pivot tables, data tables, excel functions and scenario modelling.
• (Preferred) Knows web scraping with Python.
