Job summary

Twigs 'N' Trails is seeking a Creative Web Design Intern with Wix experience to maintain and enhance our website. You will design landing pages, upload products, and publish SEO-friendly content. This role offers mentorship from the Founder/CEO and a chance to own the digital presence of a fast-growing, purpose-driven brand.

You will work on UI/UX improvements, page speed optimizations, and campaign-driven pages, while collaborating with the marketing team to launch new ideas.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Wix and a portfolio of Wix websites.
• Strong UI/UX design knowledge and visual sensibility.
• Solid on-page and technical SEO knowledge, including metadata and Core Web Vitals.
• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Detail-oriented with a creative design sense.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail oriented Web Design Intern with prior experience working on Wix. You will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and regularly updating our website to ensure it remains visually appealing, user friendly, and aligned with our brand.

Responsibilities

• Design, update, and maintain our Wix website.
• Create landing pages for campaigns, festivals, and product launches.
• Upload and manage products, collections, and website content.
• Publish and optimize blog articles for SEO.
• Improve website layout, navigation, and user experience.
• Ensure the website is responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Implement on page and technical SEO best practices.
• Optimize website speed, images, and overall performance.
• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Identify opportunities to improve organic traffic and website conversions.
• Work closely with the marketing team to execute new campaigns and ideas.

Requirements

• Prior hands on experience working with Wix.
• A portfolio showcasing Wix websites or web design projects.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Strong understanding of on page and technical SEO, including keyword research, metadata optimization, internal linking, URL structure, schema markup, image optimization, Core Web Vitals, and website performance best practices.
• Ability to use Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Creativity and an excellent eye for design.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Wix Studio.
• Familiarity with Velo by Wix.
• Experience using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest.
• Basic knowledge of Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.

Compensation and Benefits

• Stipend: 5,000 to 7,000 per month (based on your skills, experience, and portfolio).
• Performance Incentive: Receive 2% of the net profit from successfully completed orders originating through enquiries generated from the Twigs 'N' Trails website.
• Incentive Cap: Maximum payout of 15,000 per order.
• Performance incentives will be released only after the order has been successfully completed, full payment has been received from the client, and the enquiry has been verified to have originated through the Twigs 'N' Trails website.
